CQ Level 4 Certificate in Veterinary Nursing Consultation (Small Animal)

You will study the following topics:

• Consultation structure and legislation
• The nurse's role in preventative healthcare consultations
• Nutritional education in consult
• Basic behavioural consultations for nurses
• Life stage consultations
• Advanced consultations

Prospective applicants should be a qualified registered veterinary nurse (RVN) on the small animal RCVS register. To complete the qualification, the learner must currently be working in a veterinary environment with exposure to nursing consultations.

The course is delivered face-to-face, through webinars, e-learning and directed study. You will be provided with one-to-one support from an experienced tutor.

The course is assessed via assignments, case studies and two theory examinations.

All fees detailed include the awarding organisation enrolment and examination fee of £405.50.

This award permits those certificate holders to become a recognised consulting nurse, permitting enhanced career development, promoting the roles and responsibilities of RVNs to the wider public.
